ANDY KING

Co-Founder

Andy King is a co-founder/principal at Inward Point and the driving force behind today’s most engaging events.

Andy has spent the past 25 years helping top brands, foundations, and individuals market themselves, primarily through live events and experiential campaigns. He catered his first wedding at age 16 and went on to become a top event producer in New York City. He was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal as America’s first “corporate concierge” for his groundbreaking work at PepsiCo. He's  also worked with clients such as Disney, ABC Television, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, ING, Victoria’s Secret, InStyle Magazine, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Armani, Cole Haan, The Rolling Stones, and Paris Hilton. Andy is a passionate entrepreneur – authoring his own cookbook, co-hosting TV shows on Animal Planet, The Food Network, and Fine Living Network, and previously owning a 10-bedroom hotel and restaurant in Hudson, NY. Andy splits his time between Brooklyn and Chatham, NY.

 

BRENDAN DOHERTY

Co-Founder

Brendan Doherty is a co-founder/principal at Inward Point and a former diplomat with a gift
for connecting people around the causes they believe in.

Brendan's helped government leaders in Africa and Asia better serve their citizens, and now helps business and non-profits enhance their brand story and audience connectivity. His clients include Media Monks, Comcast, Deloitte, Rocket Fuel, ASU, Kellogg Business School, and Riverkeeper. He spent over 10 years in the hospitality industry before earning his law degree and joining the U.S. State Department to advise senior officials on human security globally. Among his accomplishments, he created a multi-million dollar public-private partnership with Fortune 500 companies and helped launch a presidential initiative with 40+ heads of state at the United Nations. He remains a Senior Advisor to the Public International Law & Policy Group, where he advises rebels, governments, civil society, and the UN on constitution drafting and peace negotiations. He is also a Term Member with the Council on Foreign Relations, a Truman National Security Fellow, an Advisor to Impossible 2 Possible, and a member of Riverkeeper's Junior Council. He grew up on the Atlantic Ocean and lives in Brooklyn.

 

Asher Jay

Director of Design & Development

Asher is a creative conservationist who leads design and development for Inward Point. Her work deploys groundbreaking design, virtual reality, multimedia arts, literature, and lectures to inspire environmental and social action. She’s helped combat illegal wildlife trafficking, advance environmental issues, and promote humanitarian causes globally. She’s a National Geographic Emerging Explorer with clients that include National Geographic, WWF, WildAid, Audubon Society, and March for Elephants, for whom she designed an animated Time Square billboard that garnered 1.5m views. She received her degree in Fashion Design and Marketing at Parsons School of Design @ the New School in New York.

Emilie Cowan

Director of Business Development & West Coast

Emilie is an experienced marketing and communications executive passionate about creating meaningful and shared experiences. She focuses on creative and analytics driven strategies to develop community oriented programs. She is interested in inter-disciplinary solutions to facilitate place making - leveraging innovative technology solutions and experience to activate participation and collaboration for sustainable and scalable growth. 

 

ALEX SANTIAGO

Director of Sustainability and Partnerships

Connector and life-long learner, Alex believes that positive social and environmental change can be driven through business. She’s used her love for engagement, outreach and events coordination to drive sustainability initiatives and cultivate community at Impact Hub NYC and American Express. At Inward Point, Alex spearheads all things sustainability and pursues new partnerships for business development and event production. A New York native, you can find Alex spending her free time soaking up rays on Long Island beaches or in Washington Square park, with a green drink in hand of course.

 

Rebecca BARD

Lead Event Producer

Rebecca is a Lead Event Producer at Inward point. She helps to bring to life each unique event experience. A native of NY, she grew up in Westchester County. She is currently attending Columbia University in the City of New York. An athlete for all of her life, she chose to continue her career by playing Division I field hockey for the university. She is pursuing a B.A. in Sustainable Development with a special concentration in business. Rebecca spends her free time exploring New York in search of new places to enjoy a good book and something delectable to eat.

CLIENT  || Rocket Fuel + Riverkeeper

CONCEPT  || a summer takeover of Manhattan’s Pier 84 for 800+ guests and VIPs.

PRODUCTION  || full sound stage, headlining music, large LED light kits, biodiesel power generation, 6 food trucks and 4 live chef demos, massive pop up lounge areas with gaming, photo booths, large-scale procurement and setup/breakdown, oversaw 70+ staff.

INNOVATION || over 60% all waste composted, 1800sf of sod donated to Harlem public park, hiring that empowered women + social justice, secured non-profit Riverkeeper 175+ new supporters and visitors and a longer-term institutional partnership with Rocket Fuel. 

 

CLIENT  || Leitner-Poma + Caesars Entertainment

CONCEPT  || launch party for the world’s largest ferris wheel at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

PRODUCTION  || full food and beverage packages, actors/musicians, major after-party at Brooklyn Bowl, champagne toast aboard ferris wheel.

INNOVATION || 100% carbon neutral, redesigned food supply chain to diversify and source locally + minority-owned, bold proof of concept for Caesars execs on cutting event-related plastic.


 

CLIENT  || Comcast

CONCEPT  || selected to host high-end awards dinner for Comcast execs and entrepreneurs.

PRODUCTION  || transformed Soho rooftop into open garden dinner with 6-course meal, raw bar, live jazz, and city skyline.

INNOVATION || zero food waste, fresh meals donated to homeless shelter, seafood + produce + meats sourced within 125mi, ‘Empire Bar’ of entirely locally crafted spirits, except tequila!

 

CLIENT  || Magnises

CONCEPT  || designed client a brand campaign of over 25 activations that touched 1500 unique guests.

PRODUCTION  || 3 high-profile hip hop shows, product launches, pop-up dinners, gallery openings, cocktail parties, and more.

INNOVATION || advised on corp. giving strategy, hosted charity fundraisers, hiring preference for local businesses –woodworkers, chefs, artists, & bakers.
